The QUAD 204 project shows the vast subsea infrastructure that sits beneath BP's Glen Lyon FPSO vessel. It covers an area approximately the size of Glasgow, Scotland.
The project redeveloped the Schiehallion Area, which is located approximately 150 km west of the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland. Under the water are five drill centres, a pipework of hardware and controls infrastructure, all in water depths of 350-500m. This all connects to the Glen Lyon FPSO on the surface of the sea, which stores and then offloads the hydrocarbons.
The model was commissioned by BP.
The project was realised in collaboration with Premier Ship Models.
