SS Corinthic was a passenger cargo liner, launched in 1946. She was 15, 682 GRT and accommodated 85 first class passengers. Being a passenger cargo ship, she had 6 large holds with space for 668,000 cubic feet of cargo of which 510,000 was for refrigerated goods.
Her maiden voyage was delayed after a fire on board, but finally departed from Liverpool to Sydney on April 12, 1947.
