Commissioned as a unique birthday gift for the yacht’s owner, this project combined discretion with exceptional craftsmanship to create a personal piece of lasting value.
The client entrusted us with the creation of a unique, museum‑quality scale model of the Comanche racing yacht, destined as a personal gift for the yacht’s owner. The commission required the utmost discretion, with minimal information available, challenging our team to capture every detail through meticulous research and expert craftsmanship.
Due to the highly confidential nature of the commission, no original design plans were available. Our team began with extensive research, gathering every possible visual and technical reference for the Comanche yacht. By combining our expertise in naval architecture with this carefully sourced material, we developed an accurate 3D design for the model.
The majority of the components were produced in‑house using advanced 3D printing technologies — FDM for structural precision and SLA for ultra‑fine detail. Selected fittings were crafted in stainless steel to replicate the yacht’s most intricate features. One of the most distinctive aspects of this custom yacht model was the paintwork, requiring exact alignment of overlapping art shapes to mirror the original vessel’s striking graphics.
To ensure safe international delivery, we engineered a bespoke, heavy‑duty transport case tailored to the model’s dimensions. The sails were reproduced with exceptional care, matching both the form and the original artwork, completing a museum‑quality Comanche scale yacht that met the highest standards of craftsmanship and accuracy.
